drazhar, master of blades

This miniature is not just my favourite from the original Dark Eldar range; it is one of my favourite Games Workshop sculpts across all of their ranges. I only made subtle changes to the miniature to give him a more fearsome, balletic appearance. The "Disembowler Blades" received much of the attention as I wanted them to look more dangerous.

I filed down the chainsword teeth to give the blades a real edge and appear more threatening. I removed the spikes on the skull-shaped basket hilts as they seemed unnecessary. The arms were repositioned to make Drazhar appear to be taunting his next victim, leaving his guard open and making him seem more dangerous.

The miniature was based at an angle to give him more forward momentum. Green Stuff was used to fill in the gaps left by repositioning the arms.
2. The small changes help to make Drazhar appear to almost be dancing towards his prey.

I didn't include the long vanes on the back of this miniature so filled in the back using Green Stuff. I cut away the end of the helmet so that I could resculpt it to give the impression of more freedom of movement.
