eldar rangers
The sculpts of the Eldar Rangers are some of the best in the range and have aged really well. I decided to model some scenery on to the bases of this squad to represent them moving stealthily through cover. I chose a small thicket of trees - enough to be noticeable but not too dense to obscure or overpower the miniatures. Once I'd assembled all six of the unique Ranger sculpts (without any conversion work), I converted the last four models in the squad to create new poses and included a female squad member as well. The equipment on all of them remains standard though - there is greater variety and diversity in my Pathfinder squad as they have been Outcasts for much longer. I consider these Rangers to be relatively inexperienced and still using the standard gear that they left the Craftworld with.

7. This ranger was converted using the head from the miniature for Aenur, The Sword of Twilight (a classic Mordheim miniature). The head was removed from that model so I could use the body for a Harlequin Troupe Master conversion.
