Eldar Farseer 2
The plastic Farseer kit provided an excellent opportunity to create my first female Farseer model.Date: 2014 - present (work-in-progress)
Components: 1x plastic Eldar Farseer, 1x High Elf Lothern Skycutter scenic base element, Green Stuff, 40mm round base
Related:

1. All of my independent characters are on 40mm bases, which meant that I could use this larger scenery element on the base.

2. I filed down the decorative "beard" on the helmet's chin, reshaping it to a gracefully tapering point.

3. I wasn't a fan of the hollow robes on the original model so I filled them in with Green Stuff. It's not particularly realistic but I prefer it.

4. A work-in-progress picture of the body of the model. The original upper torso was cut away (as it was a separate component this was relatively straightforward) and resculpted using Green Stuff.
The hand was separated from the right arm so that the arm could be rotated, allowing the charms and bangles to hang down naturally. In the original pose, they stuck out parallel to the ground and didn't look right at all.

5. Rear view of the Farseer's body.

6. The completed Farseer conversion.

7. Close-up of the re-sculpted rune armour on the chest. I'm pleased with how this turned out - the difference from the standard kit is subtle, but enough to set this Farseer apart as female.

8. Rear view of the assembled model.

9. Side view of the assembled Farseer conversion.

10. The undercoated Farseer.
