I have a total of thirty Guardian Defenders; allowing me to field three squads of ten, or a smaller number of larger squads. They have been assembled with virtually no conversion work as the standard miniatures look fine and are fairly iconic. Six of them have some minor equipment variations to set them apart as the Heavy Weapon Platform operators and each squad includes a Guardian with a banner. The Heavy Weapon Platforms have been magnetised so that different weapons can be used.

1. The first miniature that I painted in my whole collection was one of the Guardian Defender Heavy Weapon Platforms. This is the completed scenic base for it.
2. The underside of the completed Heavy Weapon Platform.
3. My first completed miniature in my Craftworld colours.
4. Another view of the Heavy Weapon Platform.
5. View of the platfrom from above.
6. Rear view of the platform.

9. Two of the six Heavy Weapon Platform crew.
10. I have converted three Guardians as standard-bearers.
11. A close-up of the top of the standard. This is based on the Dire Avenger Exarch banner. I carefully cut the Dire Avenger rune away from the banner pole, altered it to resemble a Guardian rune and then glued it back in place, rotated through 90°.
