eldar harlequins
troupe of twilight
Each of my three Harlequin troupes comprises a full roster of twelve players, armed with a variety of weapons. The majority of the models have been converted in some fashion and I have combined parts from the current plastic kit and older metal models to produce a greater variety of poses.
date: 2008 - present (work-in-progress)
components: Metal Harlequin kit, plastic Harlequin kit, Starweaver/Voidweaver gunner body, Wraithlord scenery elements, War Walker scenery elements, Dark Elf Black Ark Corsair knife and hand, Green Stuff, brass rod

7. This unusual top-down perspective of the third player shows the positioning of the arms and legs. The model appears to be completing a spinning kick and I feel that it conveys a good impression of movement.
8. This model was assembled using the body of the gunner from the Starweaver/Voidweaver kit.
9. Although this pose is fairly static for a Harlequin, I was pleased with the menacing pose and the use of the reversed-grip sword arm.
10. This troupe member is armed with a fusion pistol and Harlequin's Embrace. He was constructed using plastic parts, with no conversion work needed.

12. The sixth player was made using a mixture of metal and plastic parts.
13. The seventh player has a fusion pistol and a Harlequin's Caress.
14. For this player, I replaced the right forearm with a Harlequin's Caress.

16. This Harlequin was made using a recycled base and legs from another conversion that I'd completed, but ultimately wasn't happy with.
17. This Harlequin is charging forwards, ready to deliver a killing blow from his Harlequin's Kiss.
